Selected NGO detail

Our selected NGO is Precious Children Home which located at No. 11, Lorong 3/57A, 46000 Petaling Jaya, Selangor (behind MPPJ Library Petaling Jaya)

The home currently houses 23 children ranging from two to 16 years old. These children are mostly from the streets or whose parents are drug addicts, alcoholics, undergoing rehabilitation program or in prison, and orphans. Currently, these children, except for the youngest, are attending school. 10 are in secondary school, 7 in primary school and 5 in kindergartens.

The Needs of Precious Children Home

A group of 25 individuals had the initial intention to organise a Christmas party with some gifts for the children. However, after speaking to the administrator of this home, we realized they are in need of other important items. Therefore, we are finding ways to raise funds to help them.

The following are the items required by the home:
- Replacement of mattresses
- Painting of fences
- Mosquito netting
- External cabin
- Small playground
